The Founder/Owner of Deltoro Mediation, Chris, is a former decorated Police Officer for a large, major municipality with more than a decade of law enforcement experience. During his time in law enforcement, Chris was honored with multiple commendations for police duty excellence. He has earned his Juris Doctor and has gained courtroom experience in various roles.
Chris is a trained Texas mediator, based in DFW, that brings a calm, structured, and neutral approach to mediation, particularly in emotionally charged or high-conflict matters.

Academic
Chris studied law, business, and criminal justice at Texas A&M University-Commerce where he graduated cum laude and obtained a minor in General Business.
Upon completing his undergrad, Chris attended Mississippi College School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor.
During law school, Chris participated in the Youth Court Clinic where he represented juvenile delinquents in court, recommending the best rehabilitation program for them based on their case and needs to help them get back on the right track to reenter society as a respected and productive citizen.
Chris also participated in courtroom proceedings at the Collin County District Attorney’s office where he interned under the supervision of lead prosecutors. He participated in trials, hearings, voir dire (jury selection), conducted legal research, prepared opening statements, closing arguments, and assisted with trial strategy.
Professional
Chris began his law enforcement career as a 911 dispatcher and call taker. He earned multiple commendations while providing a calming voice on the radio and over the phone. Chris was then accepted to a 35-week police academy at a large, major municipality where he obtained his Texas Peace Officer License.
During his law enforcement career, Chris earned over 2,500 training hours. This training spanned several topics, including crime scene investigation, surveillance techniques, child abuse investigation, missing and exploited children, human trafficking, identity theft, Constitutional Law, and arrest, search, & seizure.
Chris has experience working with multiple local agencies, state agencies, and federal agencies, including the FBI, U.S Marshals, U.S Secret Service, and DEA.
